Academic study abroad in Florence Italy at ISTITUTO EUROPEO has been in business for 27 years now working with students from all around the world. We offer courses such as: Italian Language, Music, Vocal Techniques for Opera Singers, Intermediate/Advanced Piano, Operatic Repertory (with Piano Accompaniment), Music of Naples, Ensemble Singing, Vocal Music of the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and the Baroque, Interpretation of Vocal Chamber Repertory, Singer’s Diction, Painting, Drawing, Architecture and International Business.. We take great pride and honor working with Jacksonville University where students are able to receive university credit for our college courses. Due to the variety of courses offered by Jacksonville University students have the great opportunity to continue their studies while being away from their home university.

In the past 13 years we have been specializing in working with University and agencies in the U.S. to create a study abroad program. We offer a wide variety of study abroad options and time periods. Students are invited to study for any of the following terms: Fall, Spring, Two Summer Sessions, and a Full Year Session. We also offer an intensive language course where students are able to be submerged into the Italian language, or students may enrol for the language course along with 3 electives of their choice.

In addition to our study abroad program we also have created an amazing internship department. In the past 10 years we have been working side-by-side with an internship company based in the U.S. to provide a beneficial experience for those who would like to work in Florence, Italy. Some of the internships offered range from International Business and Public Relations to Culinary Arts and Fashion Design. We have had the utmost pleasure to witness students accomplish their goals and also be a witness of their profound gratitude for the international work experience which acts as a building block for their future career.
